HOT SPICY CHICKEN CURRY

Chicken curry ?? I know that curry dishes, but do you know if there is some type of curry dishes ?? in Indonesia there are 2 or 3 type of curry that I know, but I can only cook the red curry. The basic ingredient of curry is SANTAN. Hmmm...?? Santan ?? yup santan, santan is a translation of coconut milk, without this basic ingredients then it never becomes curry gravy.


Curry dishes are very popular in Indonesia, nearly every region in Indonesia has a characteristic of its own in terms of cooking curry. This chicken curry dishes has high cholesterol but taste it's very delicious and it's hard to reject this food LOL. And the most danger is your diet program will fall apart if any of these dishes on your dinner table.


For a meat variation of this curry, you can use beef, chicken, lamb or seafood, but....I think seafood less suitable for curry, but back again to your respective taste if you like seafood than you can use it.
And for the types of vegetables that can be used are not leafy vegetables such as potatoes, jengkol (dogfruit) or petai (bitter bean), also you can add boiled egg, fried tofu or beancurd.


I admit it this menu is a little bit time consuming, but it's okay, just relax take your time don't think about time, just do your best. And just for your info, I spend about 1 hour to finish this chicken curry menu, but it seemed reasonable because the end result is very amazing, I get compliments from my husband because of this chicken curry dishes, I'm very happy and satisfied,


And......ok here is the amazing curry chicken recipe for all of you.

Ingredients :


  • 1lb chicken breast meat
  • 10 bean curds
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 cup chicken stok
  • fried shredded red shallot (garnish)
  • 100 grams red shallots
  • 100 grams garlic
  • 150 grams big red chili
  • 3 pieces tomato
  • 70 grams ginger
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon M.S.G

Directions :

  1. Cut bean curd about 6cm long and 3cm wide.
  2. Cut chicken breast meat into bite sized.
  3. Boil 2 eggs in boilling water and peeled.
  4. Peel and cut in random pieces red shallot, garlic, big red chili, ginger.
  5. Spice Paste : Blend until smooth 100 grams red shallots, 100 grams garlic, 150 grams big red chili, 3 pieces tomato, 70 grams ginger, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 3 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, 1/2 teaspoon M.S.G.


Methods :

  1. Deep fried bean curd until golden brown and remove.
  2. Heat 3 tablespoons cooking oil, stir fry chicken breast meat for 5 minutes, then input the SPICE PASTE, stir fry until the texture color changed (darker), then pour 1 cup chicken stock and input 2 boiled eggs, 10 bean curds, simmer and braised about 20 minutes, remove and serve.
  3. Garnish with fried shredded red shallot on top.


Notes :

  • If you like more spicy you could add cayenne pepper.
  • You could replace chicken stock with water.
